We are delighted to announce that Claire Clark (Director of Development at Sauce) has achieved Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
This internationally recognised award demonstrates the person has met competence and commitment against the UK Standard for Professional Engineering Competence (UK-SPEC). Chartered Engineers are characterised by ability to develop appropriate solutions to engineer problems, using new or existing technologies, through innovation, creativity and change.
Chartered Engineers are variously engaged in technical and commercial leadership and possess effective interpersonal skills, particularly in communicating technical matters. They have accountability for project, finance and personnel management and managing trade-offs between technical and socio-economic factors.
"I'm really proud to be professionally registered as a Chartered Engineer. This career milestone means that I have demonstrated competence across a number of areas against an internationally recognised standard. To have this formally recognised by both the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) and Engineering Council is very rewarding. I'm really looking forward to continuing my professional development and applying my competencies when working with the team and with our clients here at Sauce."
